Olive green means the mod wins over the red file. So whats up with unoffical skyrim patch.esp Looks like skyrim.esm and federleicht ruestung.esp (lighter armor) are the same (beside the weight) - ok. Here the example picture: ( put a ".de" after pic-upload, it seems I cant post normal links) Step One: Open TES5Edit, select only the mod that needs cleaning and open. Most popular files are covered by LOOT, so a general rule is that if it tells you to clean it, clean it. Tes5edit loads fast, is reliable and doesnt hang everytime for nothing, or popup with tons of errors all the time because extra space or other useless things. If it looks like this, do I have to do anything? If you are now using LOOT in stead of BOSS, it will be more up to date. ArmoredTroll, once youll have practiced a lot and used to manage the 'how to', itll be easy and far faster to use Tes5edit to manage this kind of things than using CK. Klicked a random red entry "armorironshield" "lighter armor" (I only picked that without any other, the other esm/esp loaded automatically) Maybe there is a tutorial in the big internet I missed, which explains different red color situations?
#How to use tes5edit how to#
I learned from the tutorials how to clean identical green files, but now what to do with the reds?

I read and watched tutorials, but im having the problem they didnt explain what i have to do with the red lines, just what the background and text color stand for. I already cleaned the master files update/dawnguard/hearthfire watching a tutorial. I don't have any crashes with skyrim, but they still recommend it. I want to use tes5edit, cause many recommend it.
